What should I check before removing the hang tags?Updated 3 days ago
We use a 100% quality control process where every bag undergoes a rigorous 38-point inspection prior to packaging. When you receive your bag, we encourage you to look it over before removing the hang tags to ensure it meets your expectations. If it’s not the perfect fit, we encourage you to return it through our standard returns process, linked here:
Please note that items showing use or that do not have the original tags attached are not eligible for return or refund.
To help set clear expectations around the natural characteristics of our materials, we’ve included a brief overview of each below. These details reflect intentional choices in our designs — qualities that contribute to the character, longevity, and performance of our bags.
Full Grain Leather — we use a vegetable-tanned, full-grain top-side leather selected for its durability and rich character. Natural variations in the hide are expected and embraced; they’re a hallmark of authentic full-grain leather and will deepen beautifully with use. Over time, your bag will develop a patina unique to you — one of the reasons this material is so highly valued.
Rubberized Base Material — for the base of our backpacks, gym bags, and dopp kits, we use a hyper-durable, waterproof rubber that has served these designs well for many years. The micro-textured finish provides added grip, especially on wet surfaces, and its appearance may show natural markings or shading similar to waxed canvas — this is inherent to the material, not a defect. Because the rubber is intentionally rigid for strength and structure, slight puckering at curved seams is also normal and expected.
DuraLite Fabric Shell — fabric bags naturally offer a more relaxed, fluid form than rigid all-leather constructions. Our DuraLite shell used across the collection has been perfected over the years to achieve the right balance: light in hand, substantial enough to hold a clean profile, and flexible enough to shape comfortably around its contents. This is part of the intended look and feel of a performance-driven, fabric bag.
Of course, if you notice anything that concerns you, please feel free to send our team a photo. We’re always happy to take a look and offer guidance — and if the bag simply isn’t right for you, we will gladly assist with a return.
